Hudson House is a federally funded HUD (Housing and Urban Development ) building for low income seniors. The applicant/head of household must 62 years of age and older.

Monthly rent is based on each tenant/family gross annual income. Tenants are required to pay no more than 30 percent of their income for rent. Leases are adjusted annually.

Income limits are set annually by the federal government. Currently the income limits are $30,250 for one person and $34,550 for two people. Although there is no limit to the amount of assets you may have, the interest, dividends etc. from these assets are considered part of your annual income.

Yes. Tenants pay for electricity, phone and cable. Gas and heat is included in rent.
